In Christ
According
to Isaiah 61, we Christians, IN CHRIST, have some
mighty amazing callings upon us, and some exciting great exchanges
that are waiting for us to withdraw. All the good things listed in
Isaiah 61 are for Jesus – and what’s His is OURS as we
ARE His Body! These things are bought, paid for, and have our name
personally assigned to them! So check up on yourself to make certain
that you are withdrawing these good things daily – and making those
exchanges from the old man to the New Man!! All withdrawals are made
WITH our tongues, by the way. You see, we are to speak forth what is
ours IN HIM (according to His Word). That speaking is both for our
own good, and to also get in line with Ephesians 3 and
allow the principalities of this world to hear from us what we
demand – this is the manifold wisdom of God! It is God’s intent for
us IN CHRIST! Ephesians 3: 10-11 10His intent was
that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be
made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly
realms, 11according to his eternal purpose which he
accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. You may do this on
behalf of your family as well as yourself. Do it and watch the
windows of heaven open up. Remind the enemy (by speaking it aloud to
him daily) until you see with your eyes what is poured out to you
from heaven. Keep it up till you see accomplished in flesh what is
ALREADY yours IN CHRIST! Are you aware this makes all of us anointed
preachers?! Just read Isaiah 61 for yourself and list out what all
is yours. Are you ready to PREACH good news to the poor?! All of us
are poor in our old man, so preach to it! You are now (by virtue of
your position In Christ) ready to bind up the brokenhearted and to
proclaim freedom for the captives! You are ready now to release from
darkness, prisoners! Did you know that EVERYDAY for you IN CHRIST is
the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God?!
Certainly IN CHRIST, Jesus said - many trials will come. However,
they only come to our old man to cause him to ‘reckon himself dead’
(Romans 6:11). This is so we CAN make these amazing exchanges, and
GROW STRONG like an OAK! Let’s check this out and see if you are
making your withdrawals. Compare your daily life to “It is finished”
living. When Christ said that – then ALL delay was then finalized!
So, as we put on Christ, let’s also be sure to withdraw our
exchanges. Here’s a partial list of exchanges that are ours In
Christ, in Isaiah 61: (Compare them to your life now. If these are
not IN your life today, I am sorry to say that is because you are
living from the old man! Decide NOW to live up to the Spirit man,
which is also from the NEW MAN (JESUS)!!
-
You get provision
for grief.
-
A crown of beauty
for ashes.
-
The oil of gladness
for mourning.
-
A garment of praise
for a spirit of despair.
-
People should be
referring to you as stable (you know, like an oak) and full of
His righteousness – think about what a huge old oak provides -
like wonderful shade and a nice place to rest in the heat.
-
You should be
showing the display of His splendor of the Lord.
-
Did you know that
the ancient blessings of your ancestors can be withdrawn by
you? CLAIM THEM!
-
You are a rebuilder,
a restorer.
-
You will get favor
from people you do not know.
-
You are priests of
the LORD – all ministers of God!!
-
You’ll feed on the
wealth of nations.
-
Instead of shame &
disgrace you’ll receive a double portion inheritance.
-
Everlasting joy is
yours!!
-
Your descendants
will be known among the nations and their offspring among the
peoples.
-
All who see them
will acknowledge that they are a people the LORD has blessed.
-
He clothes you with
garments of salvation and arrays you in a robe of righteousness
(you have HIS righteousness – not your own!).
-
The Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise spring up
before all nations on your behalf. (Good things happening in
the world because of you!)
