YOU STAND IN A COVENANT OF VICTORY

Who Am I In Christ?

Read this list aloud to yourself, repeatedly until it becomes a part of you. Pray through the list occasionally asking God to cement these truths in your heart.

The following statements summarize your scriptural identity and position in Christ and form the foundation for your freedom in Christ. Read these statements aloud often. If you are presently involved in a spiritual conflict, read these statements aloud at least once each day for a month.

God’s word is absolute, pure truth (Psalm 119:140). It shall stand forever (Isaiah 40:8). I receive it engrafted into my heart with meekness, because it has the power to save my soul (James 1:21). God’s word grows mightily in my heart and prevails (Acts 19:20) and by it I am quickened (Psalm 119:50). It is a lamp unto my feet (Psalm 119:105) and the entrance of it giveth light (Psalm 119:130). The light shines into the darkness and the darkness cannot resist it (John1:5). The word of the Lord is very pure and thy servant loves it (Psalm 119:140). Great peace have I, and nothing shall offend me (Psalm 119:165) and I will let it dwell in me richly (Colossians 3:16a). This is Thy covenant with me Oh Lord. Thy Spirit that is upon me, and Your words which You have put in my mouth, shall never depart out of my mouth, nor out of the mouth of my seed, nor out of the mouth of my seed’s seed ( natural and spiritual) as You have said, from now on and forever ( Isaiah 59:21).

I am not the great “I AM”, but by the grace of God I am what I am (1 Corinthians 15:10). Without Him I can do nothing (John 15:5), BUT I AM COMPLETE IN HIM WHO IS THE HEAD OVER ALL PRINCIPALITY AND POWER (Colossians 2:10).

Having been predestined, I was chosen by God for adoption, according to the good pleasure of His will (Ephesians1:5) and I am now born again (John 1:12, 3:7), made a new creature in Christ; old things have passed away; behold all things are made new in me (2 Corinthians 5:17). I have received the Spirit of God into my life that I might freely know by the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him the things given to me by God, that the eyes of my understanding may be enlightened; that I may know the hope of His calling, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance placed in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe

(1 Corinthians 2:12; Ephesians 1:17-19).

I have been justified, declared righteous, through faith in His blood in which I trust (Romans 3:25, 26). My sins are forgiven and I am redeemed from all the curse of the broken law by His blood, and His cross, according to the riches of His grace (Ephesians 1:7; Galatians 3:13). The handwriting that was against me has been totally cancelled (Colossians 2:14). I am free from all condemnation because I am in Christ (Romans 8:1). Satan, my accuser has been cast down (Revelation 12:10). I am washed, I am sanctified, I am justified in the name of Jesus and by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:11). He has washed me of my sins in His blood (Revelation 1:5). Because I walk in the light as He is in the light, the blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleanses me from all sin (1 John 1:7). I am made nigh by the blood of Christ (Ephesians 2:13). I have access to all the benefits of His covenant which is sworn by the oath of His word and His blood (Hebrews 6:17, 18). Even my conscience is purged by the blood of Christ, (who offered Himself without spot to God by the eternal Spirit) from all dead works to serve the living God (Hebrews 9:14). Therefore, Satan has no place in me or legal hold over me. ALL HAS BEEN settled by the blood of Jesus (Romans 8:33, 34). I OVERCOME THE DEVIL THEREFORE, BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB AND BY THESE WORDS OF MY TESTIMONY (Revelation 12:11).

Yes, I am an adopted child of the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, totally accepted by God, in Christ (Ephesians 1:5, 6). I have been qualified to partake in and enjoy my share in the inheritance of all the saints of the light (Colossians 1:12), and I am no longer a stranger to the covenants of promise and of the vast commonwealth of Israel (Ephesians 2:12).  As a child of faith like Abraham, because I believe God’s word, I have access to and partake in the same promises and blessings God gave to Abraham (Galatians 3:9, 14, Genesis 12:2, 3). I am joined to the Lord, and I am one Spirit with Him (1 Corinthians 6:17).

I  have been rescued from the dominion of darkness and have been translated into the kingdom of God’s dear Son (Colossians 1:13). I am born of God and Satan has no right to influence or touch my life (1 John 5:18), and I give him no place (Ephesians 4:27) in Jesus name!

Because I was baptized into Jesus’ death, my old sinful nature was buried with Him. I know this to be a fact according to God’s word and I continue to reckon it so. Therefore, I am free from sin’s dominating power over me and I choose to yield all the parts of my body to serve God, to glorify God, as instruments of righteousness. I walk in newness of life as one who has been united with Christ in His resurrection (Romans 6:3-14.) I give my body as a living sacrifice that I may know the perfect will of God (Romans12:2). My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and I will glorify God in my body and in my spirit, which belong to Him (1 Corinthians 6:19,20). Since I died with Christ, I no longer live for myself but for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:14,15). My old self-life has been crucified with Christ, is dead, and my life is hidden with Christ in God. Christ is alive in me and the life I now live in this body, I live by the faith of Jesus Christ the Son of God, Who so loved me that He sacrificed Himself for me (Colossians 3:3; Galatians 2:20). Because I am Christ’s, I have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts (Galatians 5:24). Therefore I mortify the flesh by the Spirit now (Romans 8:13). I put off the old man (Ephesians 4:22), and reckon myself to be indeed dead unto sin and alive to God (Romans 6:11). I seek those things, which are above where Christ sits at the right hand of God (Colossians 3:1). Much more being reconciled to God by His death, I am saved by His life in me (Romans 5:10). The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2). My body is for the Lord and the Lord is for my body (1 Corinthians 6:13).

I am being kept by the power of God through faith unto full salvation until the return of Christ (1 Peter 1:5). I have been sealed into Christ by the Holy Spirit as a pledge guaranteeing the fullness of my inheritance (purchased by Jesus) to be unfolded in my life, until Jesus returns to redeem me totally and finally form this body, unto the praise of the fullness of His glory which shall be seen in me (Ephesians 1:13,14). To Him who is able to keep me from falling and to present me faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, be glory and majesty, dominion and power now and forever

(Jude 24, 25).

I have been given access to God with boldness and confidence (Ephesians 3:12). Yea, the Lord Jesus Christ my high priest tells me to hold fast to my confession of faith, for He knows my weaknesses. He invites me, draws me to come to Him with bold confidence to His throne to obtain (to take hold of what has already been given) mercy and grace to help in every time of need (Hebrews 4:16; Hebrews 10:23). His grace is sufficient for me to enable me to overcome every weakness. Therefore in my infirmities I will give glory to Him and count on the power of the strength of His Spirit to rise up within me to make me strong ( 2 Corinthians 12:9,10). It is God that girds me with His strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like hinds feet, and setteth me upon my high places (Psalm 18:32,33). I stand on His promise to help me and strengthen me and uphold me with His right hand of righteousness (Isaiah 41:10). For it is God who works in me to both will and do for His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). Faithful is He that called me, who will also do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

God is able to make all manner of grace abound toward me, that I always, having all sufficiency in all things, may abound unto every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8). I have been given exceeding great and precious promises, and by these, I am made a partaker of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). Since I am part of the true vine, I am as a branch of that vine, a channel of the very life of Christ in me – the sap of the Holy Spirit is in me to bear much fruit that my Father in Heaven may be glorified (John 15:1,5,8). I have been saved by His grace, I am born anew, and I am created to do the works which He has prepared beforehand for me to do (Ephesians 2:10).

I will be fully like Christ when I see Him at His return for me (1 John 3:2). Meanwhile in all things God works for good in my life, to conform me to the image of His Son (Romans 8:28, 29) that His life may be more fully formed and strengthened in the outworking of my life and I will no longer be as a child, tossed to and fro (Ephesians 4:13,14).

I have been quickened together with Christ and because all principalities and powers are under His feet (since His resurrection, all authority and power has been given to Him in the heavenly places and on the earth – Matthew 28:18) and because I am part of His Body, all principalities and powers are also under my feet, in my position in Him

( Ephesians 2:1,6; 1:21-23). Greater is He that is in me that he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). He has given me authority to tread on snakes and scorpions and all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me. Notwithstanding I rejoice not that the spirits are subject unto me, but rather rejoice because my name is written in Heaven (Luke 10:19,20). But through my God, I shall tread down those that are risen against me (Psalm 44:5). I will cut them off in the name of the Lord ( Psalm 118:12) and bind their kings and nobles in fetters of iron, with the high praise of God in my mouth, and the two edged sword of His Word in my hand. This honor have all His saints to execute the judgment written against His enemies (Psalm 149:6-9). Whatever I bind on earth is bound in the heavenlies, and whatever I loose on earth is loosed in the heavenlies (Matthew 18:18). I walk in the Spirit and do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh, and the fruit the Spirit bears in me is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and self control (Galatians 5:22,23).

IN CHRIST I AM AN OVERCOMER (Romans 8:37). I am the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:13). Christ is my shield, my glory and the lifter of my head (Psalm 3:3), and my words shall conform to His, because in my tongue is the power of life or death (Proverbs 18:21). Thanks be to God who always causes me to triumph and makes manifest the power of His knowledge by me in every place (2 Corinthians 2:14). In all these things, I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loved me

(Romans 8:37).

I AM COMPLETE IN HIM WHO IS THE HEAD OVER ALL PRINCIPALITY AND POWER (Colossians 2:10).

HALLELUJAH!

So say what God says you are, and by the power of the Spirit be what you are in Christ.
